Step 1: Go to your settings on your Firestick device. You can simply search for it on the search bar if you can’t find it.
Step 2: In the settings tab, click on the device option which is to the right of the preferences button.
Step 3: Once you are in the device tab, toggle and scroll down to the developer options. It is the second option under the about tab.
Step 4: Once you’re under the developer’s option, select the second option which is the apps from unknown sources. It’s turned off by default. So you need to click on this option and turn it on.
Step 5: A message will appear that warns you that there could be risk involved when downloading unsafe apps. Simply click on the turn on the button to enable you to download third-party apps such as Xfinity Stream app.
Once you’ve enabled apps from unknown resources, you can go through the download app.
Step 1: Go to your main menu again and search for the downloader app.

Step 3: You will now be downloading the setup app. Once the installation is complete for the downloaded, you can download the Xfinity Streaming app. Click on the install button.

Method 3: Download through ES File Explorer
Another alternative to the third party downloader is the ES File Explorer. Assuming you already have enabled apps from unknown sources, you may proceed to the following steps:
Step 1: Go to your main menu and go to the search bar. Then type and open up the ES File Explorer app.
Step 2: When it’s open, you will see a downloader icon with a down arrow.
Step 3: Go to the Now button which is located on the bottom of the screen and click on it.
Step 4: A window will open asking you for a path and name for your app to download. Enter the below-mentioned Path and its name.
Name: Xfinity Stream
Step 5: Click the download now button.
Step 6: Once the app is downloaded, click on the open file button.
Step 7: There will be an install button and you can click the install button and the APK file will get downloaded.
Step 8: Once the APK file is downloaded click install again to download the Xfinity Stream app.
Step 9: Once the app is installed, click on the open button.
The Xfinity Stream on Firestick will be launched and you can click on get started to begin.
